Hi there, Sweet Friends!
I am seriously so glad that you all can connect with me and enjoy my portfolio right HERE! After all, this website and Taylor Morgan Photography in itself has been such an amazing and big project for me. I am so excited to book something creative with you and really dive deep into capturing some of your life’s biggest moments. I can’t thank any of you enough for the constant support, and if you’re a newcomer, I want to give you the warmest of welcomes.
ABOUT ME
my photography journey
I could go on and on about how the earth has music for those who listen. I could talk for hours about how the photographer is truly nature’s witness, but I will jump right into the place and time where photography really came hand in hand with my entire life journey and when I was finding myself in one of the world’s most beautiful places. Okay, I may be a little biased on that fact, but we’re all friends here... So let’s be vulnerable!
As a barely ‘just turned’ 19 year old in the summer of 2017, I packed all of my belongings, and left my little Missouri home. I had just moved to North Carolina where the water literally meets the sand. I scored the cutest home that was only ten minutes from the beach. I started spending every evening next to the ocean and fell in love with taking photos, while of course, collecting all of the sea treasures that were available to me. (Who wouldn’t?) Anyway, one of my coworkers had seen a “Model Call” on Facebook and told me that I would be perfect for it. I looked at the photographer’s website and was quite literally thinking to myself that there was just no way she would pick me, BUT when you’re scared to do something, that is exactly when you should go for it.
I was selected for her model call, and continued to model for her and many other photographers for that entire year. We selected natural locations, like the beach, woods, lakes, etc.; places that were right up my alley. I found myself picking up an entirely new hobby. I moved to Delaware the following year and on Christmas of 2019, I was gifted my very first Canon camera. From that point on, I started taking photos of everything. I seriously mean, EVERYTHING. I began to enjoy seeing people smile, making connections, creating art, and capturing the most beautiful and memorable moments. That whole mouthful (and yes, it was a lot. We can say that, because we're friends here) lead me back to Missouri, where I am currently based out of St. Louis. Photography truly is a passion of mine that I hope I get to share with all of you.
